Schools Ministry

We are passionate about creating opportunities for children and young people to explore faith across Durham Diocese, with Schools Ministry and Missional Chaplaincy playing a vital role in this work. Our team is committed to fostering strong partnerships and meaningful engagement between schools and churches. Through the Transformation funded programme we also have the chance to establish missional chaplaincies in some of our Church of England secondary schools and local FE colleges. Rooted in local churches, these Chaplaincies will help us to reach even greater numbers of teenagers and young adults.
