It has been announced today that The Revd Canon Dr Jennifer Cooper, currently Director of Initial Ministerial Education (IME) in the dioceses of Durham and Newcastle, is to be the next Canon Chancellor of St Albans Cathedral.
While we are sad that Jennifer will be leaving the Northeast we rejoice with her in this appointment and pray for God’s richest blessings in this new chapter of her ministry. We are grateful for Jennifer’s ministry across our diocese as Director of IME for these past seven years.
Jennifer will be installed in St Albans Cathedral on Saturday 6 June.
