Parish Share is an extremely important aspect of how we function as a Diocese and represents approximately 50% of our total income.
It enables us to fund mission and ministry in our parishes, primarily through providing full time clergy to parishes, as well as providing additional services which parishes are able to access, such as safeguarding training and advice regarding church buildings.
We’re extremely grateful for the continued support of parishes through their Parish Share contributions each year.
The mechanism we use to guide parishes in terms of how much they should contribute is called Guided Pledge.
